When the Lloyd-Shrimptons travel they eat pretty well. We have carried our camp ovens the whole way and have only been able to use them the last few weeks. Below is some photos of what has been cooked.
Yummy fresh bread. Some places only frozen bread is available.
'What-ya-got-stew', a bit of this bit of that and anything that is looking a bit past its best before date.
Lunch! The bread was baked the night before and another camper gave us the avocado.
Honey soy chicken drumsticks.
Apricot pie from scratch, no frozen pastry here.
How about some chocolate brownie with our coffees!
Apple Dump Cake - you "dump" everything into a bowl, mix then cook; doesn't get much easier.
Egg and Bacon pie just out of the camp oven.
Rare Kangaroo Thai Salad.
I'm not sure, but I think leaving the country disqualifies you from the Around-Australia Club....I will have to check the rules.
ReplyDeleteStay safe. NJC and ABC
The rules state, and I quote, section 37.4 paragraph D, the party can leave Australia for a period not exceeding 21 days and must depart and return to the same port.
DeleteI think you are making up the rules(as I am) as you go along.....?
